Want an activity for young and old?
Accompany your children (between 6 and 12 years old), small children (or big children) who will put themselves in the shoes of an apprentice pirate during the game! You will be in total autonomy in the property's park and you will have to answer riddles, charades, rebuses, code words... This is a fun activity in the heart of nature!
At the end of this treasure hunt, the apprentice pirates will win a diploma as well as a grape juice produced on the property, the adults will have the opportunity to taste our vintages!

About the host

Built in 1760 by Victor Louis, the famous architect of the Grand Théâtre of Bordeaux, the Château Sainte Barbe is located on the banks of the Garonne, in Ambès, 20 minutes from Bordeaux and 8 minutes from the A10.

Listed as a historic monument since 1996, it covers 32 hectares of vines, more than 80% of which is planted with Merlot, the rest of the vine is divided between Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.

The Château produces two wines from AOC Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur: Merlot from Château Sainte Barbe and Château Sainte Barbe.

Because the quest for excellence is at the heart of the Château's concerns, the teams of the property take care of every wine process method during the 30 months necessary to create our wines. Thus, the wines of Châteaux Sainte Barbe give a beautiful ruby coloured wine, seductive and complex on the nose with hints of spices and red and black fruits. The attack is generous, underpinned by silky tannins. A balance sought from the first work of the vine to the development of wines in the winery through the harvest when the grapes are at their best maturity.
