Monastery Eberbach, Castle Vollrads, Schloss Johannisberg, Abbey Eibingen - these historic sites produce great wines since centuries and are iconic origins of wines in Germany. Together with a small group of likemided winelovers (max 7) you will be visiting some of these historic estates during our day tour and you will taste Riesling in all its expressions as well as other delicious varietals of the region. We also take time to enjoy the spectacular sights that Rheingau has to offer: beautiful vineyards and historic villages. Visit and tasting at Monastery Eberbach

We will take a tour of Monastery Eberbach, nicknamed the cradle of Riesling. After exploring the historic site's century old halls and cellars we hit the tasting room. We will taste at least 6 wines, illustrating varietals, typicality and styles of the Rheingau region.

Tasting and Lunch in medieval town Rüdesheim

Our next stop is in Rüdesheim - in one of the country's most interesting tasting room we will explore the 'Rhine Wines' ... and there is opportunity to have lunch: delicious freshly prepared tasting platters of local cold cuts or cheeses are amongst the favorites (meals are not included in tour price).

Tasting at a family vineyard

We will take a tasting stop at a family winery for a final flight of wines presented by the knowledgeable tasting room attendant - or the winemakers him/herself.
