Quinta do Vallado, built in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous Quintas in the Douro Valley. It belonged to the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira and is still in the possession of her descendants. It is located on the banks of the Corgo River, a tributary of the Douro River, right next to the mouth, near the town of Peso da Régua, 4km from the train station and approximately 120km from the city of Porto.
During our visit we make a historical framework, we visit our cellar and all stages of production, as well as the stage/aging cellars. The tasting carried out consists of 1 white wine, 3 red wines and 1 Port wine.
