This spectacular and interactive visit will allow you to unlock the secrets of Jean-Baptiste Ackerman, the pioneer of Loire fine bubbles, and to understand the method of producing Saumur fine bubble wines.
Stroll through the cellars, some of which rise to more than 20 meters in height, immerse yourself in the ephemeral and monumental works created by the artists of the Ackerman-Fontevraud “la Scène” Residence and end your visit with the family around Loire games.
Finally, a tasting of the House’s emblematic vintages will be offered to you.

A tasting of sparkling grape juice (without alcohol) is offered to children.

Founded in 1811, Ackerman – the oldest fine sparkling wine house in the Loire – specializes in the production of the Saumur and Crémant de Loire appellations, according to the traditional method. Very pretty troglodyte cellars, and a lovely tasting of 7 bottles (including 3 alcohol-free). Very warm welcome from the hostesses ready to answer our questions and provide us with information. A visit to this illustrious Saumur family is recommended.
