We welcome you to help you discover the secrets of making the wines of our château.

First of all, we will visit our facilities (winemaking cellar and aging cellar) for approximately 30 minutes to explain the different stages of making our white, red and rosé wines. Then we will introduce you to the castle park.

Then we will move on to the practical tasting stage where you can savor the fruit of our work and ask all your questions. This guided tasting of 5 to 10 wines is personalized according to your tastes: you can taste the wines of your choice, white, red or rosé, in IGP Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert and AOP Terrasses du Larzac.

Finally, if you wish to stroll in the French gardens of the castle, or go further in discovering the local vineyard, at the end of this service you will be able to freely explore our gardens, as well as the educational trail of 1.2 km in our vineyard.

About the host

Château Capion welcomes you in an idyllic setting with its splendid residence dating from the 16th century as well as its 12 hectares of parks and gardens.

The Domaine has 49 hectares of vines cultivated with respect for the terroir and biodiversity. We have been registered in organic farming certification since 2020.

Come and visit our places rich in history and taste our cuvées produced with know-how and passion.
