Quinta das Escomoeiras is part of the Vinho Verde Wine Route, and wine tourism is one of the aspects we prioritize. It was even awarded the "Best of Wine Tourism 2015" prize by the Porto City Council, one of the world's wine capitals, in the category of "Sustainable Practices in Wine Tourism".
Visits to the Quinta, as part of the Vinho Verde Wine Route, are accessible to anyone interested, subject to prior booking, without the need to be staying at the Quinta.
The visit consists of a walk around the Quinta, covering approximately 2.5 km, visiting the vineyard, the vegetable garden, the Tâmega River, which borders the Quinta, and the forest. This is followed by a guided tour of the winery and, finally, a tasting of the Quinta's wines on the terrace of the main house. The visit lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
