About this experience & host

Every year, since 2013, artists have come to cover the concrete vats inside the Cave de Saint-Chinian with a fresco in their image based on an imposed theme: the world of vines and wine, and of its winegrowers.
For each painted work, a limited edition wine is produced, in order to translate this artistic achievement in a taste and sensory way. Throughout the year, curious people and wine lovers can visit the cellar and discover the frescoes. Through this initiative, which is growing from year to year, the Cave de Saint-Chinian aims to create a unique place of contemporary art, which reinvents the wine industry and enchants the place of production. A place where the colors of the wine mingle with those of the frescoes, because art and wine combine their charms wonderfully.
