Join our Organic Vineyard and Winery Master Class as we take you through a tour of our certified organic Paradise Rescued micro winery business.

With the owner and / or vigneronne as your guide, starting in our foundation Cabernet Franc vineyard, we will explain the complete annual cycle of a vine from pruning to harvest as you walk through the rows of vines.

Moving into the Merlot vineyard, see the (now) 65 year old vines recovered from a near death experience in 2011 that, with the newly planted vines, today forms a vineyard of excellence.

Inside the winery, you can follow the 18 month process of winemaking starting with the fruit arrival, fermentation, barrel fermentation and finally bottling. See the equipment and learn the process of organic winemaking.

Finish your Master Class with a tasting of the award winning Paradise Rescued wines outside the winery.

About the host

Paradise Rescued is a family biological micro-cellar in Cardan Bordeaux. Dominated by its 12th century church, our mission is to protect the heritage of the beautiful village of Cardan, France, to support its rural community and to produce high quality organic wines by hand. With less than one hectare of vineyard, Paradise Rescued is one of the leaders in Bordeaux in the production of varietal Cabernet Franc and Merlot CabFranc.

Come visit our winery, taste our handcrafted wines, take a walk through the vineyard, learn about “organic” and listen to our winemaker share our unique story. And then stop in the historic bastide town of Cadillac for a lunch break, just ten minutes away.
