About the host

Hello and welcome in the Clos des Abbesses,
We are a family wine-estate based in the Saint-Emilion designation.
The area of the wineyard is about 16 hectares (40 acres). We are producing some 70 000 botlles yearly.
The grappe varieties are 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, counting with an average age of the vines about 47 year-old.
Our desire is to get involved in this beautiful terroir by emphasizing excellence of work and quality. Our intention is to invest as much in the earth and the vine as in the wine cellars to bring the qualitative elements worthy of a great wine. The passion of a family to serve a Tradition.
