It was in 2005 that the Signargues vineyard became AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages Signargues, produced in the villages of Saze, Domazan, Estézargues and Rochefort-du-Gard. This terroir is privileged, and it is these famous rolled pebbles, which at night restore the heat stored up during the day to the vines. We then find full-bodied, gourmet and fruity red wines that reveal all the complexity of the terroir of Signargues, the southernmost vineyard in the Rhône Valley. To make you discover our landscapes, we organize walks all year round on request. You will then be able to see the evolution of the vineyard over the seasons, and learn more about the care to be given to the vines. Walks in the vineyard “Discovering the terroir of AOC Signargues” of 3.5 km, can be organized all year round (except September because of the harvest) and are followed by a wine tasting accompanied by charcuterie and local cheese.

About the host

The Domaine de la Valériane is located in the south of France, in the heart of the southern Côtes du Rhône, on the right bank of the Rhône, in Domazan.
Between Avignon, the city of the Popes and the Roman Aqueduct of Pont du Gard, it is a family of winegrowers rooted in this ocher soil, reddened by iron oxide, with rolled pebbles, which cultivates with respect for the environment, with care and know-how of the vine, on this exceptional terroir for 4 generations.
