Caves Solar São Domingos was founded by Elpídio Martins Semedo in 1937 and, since 1970, has been led by Lopo de Sousa Freitas, responsible for the company's significant development over the past few decades.
The cellars house more than two and a half million bottles of sparkling wine, thousands of bottled wines, and hundreds of French oak barrels for its renowned wine spirits.
