About the host
Quinta do Monte Travesso is a family farm dedicated to the production of wines and olive oil with its own brand, as well as wine tourism (recently received one of the awards: "Bestofwinetourism 2019"). Located in the Cima-Corgo in Tabuaço, near the Aldeia Vinhateira de Barcos. It offers 3 different types of tastings (wines and olive oil), picnics, walks in a typical Douro van (a 1976 Bedford dubbed "Vaidosa"), guided tour of the winery and vineyards (a living museum full of stories to tell, since 1896). This Quinta, feels like a genuine Douro where tradition is still what it was! Reservation mandatory.
