The visit starts in the courtyard of the Château, with a historical presentation. Afterwards, it will be followed by a visit of the vineyards (depending on the weather conditions), in order to discover the appellation, the work in the vineyard and the particular context of the Sauternes region. You will enjoy an exceptional view of the Sauternes appellation, from our Belvedere, 3m60 from the ground.
The third part of the tour is the discovery of the winery, with details and explanations of the winemaking process.
To conclude the discovery visit, tasting of the three Sauternes wines of the Château:

About the host

Vineyard certified High Environmental Value, Château La Tour Blanche is located on one of the gravelly ridges of Sauternes. This terroir allows it to produce gourmet, harmonious and balanced wines.

Founded in the 18th century, Château La Tour Blanche, Sauternes 1er Cru Classé in 1855, is a 46 hectare estate located in Bommes. When he died, its last owner, Daniel "Osiris" Iffla, donated it to the French State on condition that a practical and free School of Viticulture and Oenology be created on site.

Today the Château La Tour Blanche welcomes you for visits every day from Monday to Friday!
