Registering with Winalist is simple and will require approximately 30 minutes of your time.
By clicking on the "add your experience" button you will have to create an account (or continue with the account with which you have connected). You will then have to complete a short form of a few pages allowing us to pre-configure your account.
Once the conditions have been accepted, you will be able to access your dashboard or you will have to enter your company name, provide your legal documents (Kbis, Copy of identity document from the account manager, proof of address of the manager) and your financial documents (RIB).
Once these elements are completed and your host profile completed, you can create your first experience.
As a company based in Europe, the new Directive on Payment Services (DSP2) which will come into force on March 30, 2020 requires us to ask all of our guests for information about the company but also the person (s) charge of it on Winalist.
In order to manage all of our financial flows, we use Stripe , an international banking establishment allowing us to split customer payments in half between
- Winalist service fees and
- your turnover.
All without making collection for the account of third parties (collection of the amount paid by the visitor then transfer of part of it to the hosts).
This banking operator asks us on a case-by-case basis for the information necessary to bring each host's account into compliance. Also, on your dashboard and by clicking on "Update your legal information to activate your account", you will be directed to a questionnaire asking for your information:
• Social reason of the company
• Company details (name, type, address and copy of the registration form)
• Information on the owner of the company and / or the account manager (name, address, position in the company and copy of the identity card on both sides)
• Proof of address for the manager
• And possibly additional information depending on the country in which you are based
Without this information, our banking operator will not be able to verify your account and we will not be able to activate the booking of your experiences or transfer money to your bank account.
As a marketplace collecting payment and acting as trusted third party between hosts and visitors, we need our partners to comply with the KYC (Know Your Customer) procedure. This consists of verifying the identity of partners and ensuring that they are in compliance with the anti-corruption laws in force.
The KYC requires us to collect and maintain information on all our hosts account holders. These requirements come from our regulators and are intended to prevent abuse of the financial system.
The information Winalist is required to collect differs from country to country, and typically includes (but is not limited to):
- The individual creating the Stripe account
- The business associated with the Stripe account
- Any individuals who ultimately own or control that business
The KYC procedure also covers the integrity and probity of clients in the context of the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism, but also in the context of the fight against financial tax fraud and the prevention of identity theft.
Every 8th of the month, you will receive by transfer the amount of the turnover of the services performed the previous month, the amount of our service fees will already be deducted from the net paid.
You will receive by email on this same occasion, a commission invoice on which you will find the statement of all the services, commissions, number of people etc. for your accounting.
